When I was on the Pentagram website I found this. I’m delighted I found it because recently I met a friend that I hadn’t seen for a long time and he told me he was thinking of writing. “Writing what?” I said – and he said “I’m thinking of writing a play”. Then I come across this video that tells you how to write a play, so this is for you.
Angle Theatre ‘You can write a play’ from Pentagram on Vimeo.
“Pentagram did this for their client The Angle Theatre. The brief was to create a short film offering advice on how to write a screenplay, created for a London-based theater’s competition to discover new talented writers. Consisting of leaflets and a short film, the campaign was designed by Naresh Ramchandani and John Rushworth, developed and produced by artists Huntley Muir, animated by Tom Baker, scored by Graeme Miller with sound mixed by Wam London and additional dialogue written by Shamser Sinha, one of the writers that Angle found and developed in 2009.
If you fancy your hand at being a writer for the stage, watch the film and give it a go.”
