We all know the term “Lost In Translation” – there’s even a good movie with the same name – and we also know how funny it can be when there’s a meaning lost between two languages. However there are some people out there that prefer NOT to translate. They insist on telling you the name of the Russian arthouse film they saw last week using the correct title in Russian – especially if it has a really, really long title.

This has nothing to do with the condition called Foreign Accent Syndrome – I posted a blog about that HERE –  this is on the other side of the very thin line between Foreign Accent Syndrome and ‘Ponsyness‘. Have a look at stand up commedian Omid Djalili explain it. That’s OOMIIIIID DJJJAAAALLIILIIII of course.
