Working in Raven Design we often come up with – what we think – are some great ideas only to find that something similar has been done before. So we have to scrap that idea and go back to the drawing board. Can anyone be totally original any more? I’m sure Google is working on scanning an image or a design and matching it to similar ones that already exist.

This would be a great time saver for designers – we could scan in any designs we have for logos or book covers or posters and see how “different” or “original” our design is. I came across these images below recently and you’ll get what I’m trying to say.
