Everything changes.

Max Arlestig and Maximilian Gebhardt, are two enterprising advertising students from Germany. They have come up with an idea that Heineken were quick to see the potential in. Next time you open a bottle of Heineken you could be automatically inviting your facebook friends to join you for a drink.

“Arlestin and Gebhardt devised a concept for a bottle opener that, via Bluetooth, connects to the user’s Facebook account and creates a new event whenever you use to it to crack a cold one. The opener can even recognize your location and will tell people exactly where to go to share in the revelry.”

I’m sure this contraption will go down better in some parts of the world – and if you’re not feeling socialable or generous you can always use your teeth or better still a cigarette lighter “to crack open a cold one”.
