On BBC Newsnight last night there was a report on the elections in Russia. There was a short video shown of a Russian official counting the votes – on hidden camera he was also caught filling out empty voting cards and adding them to the pile he was supposedly counting. He was giving his extra votes to Vladimir Putin’s party – who eventually won by a narrow majority
Who made the video, was it a set up? either way things haven’t changed much since Stalin was in Power…
